Welcome to Acorn Creek Goldens located in Melvin, Michigan.

Growing up we always had sporting dogs as part of our family. In 1994 I received my first Golden Retriever and I have owned one as a companion ever since.

I have been sharing my love for the breed with those looking for quality pets since 1996.

As a breeder I strive to bring you the best of the breed. All of our breeding stock have their hips, elbows and heart OFA or Pennhip certified. Their eyes are check annually by a Board Certified Canine Opthalmologist.

Although, as breeders we strive to remove all genetic defects from our line it is simply impossible to guarantee that they will never show up in one of our pups along the way. We do our very best with the information we have available to us.

While there are Champions are in our bloodlines, I have never shown dogs at a dog show personally. They are true to the AKC Standard.

Our pups are raised in a family environment at our home where our children enjoy playing with and socializing the puppies.

The stud dogs we choose to sire our puppies are from distinguished pedigrees and have all the testing done as well.
